Releasing data is the final step in delivering your dataset to the data requester. Once you choose to release your data, the submission is considered official and cannot be undone. However, as long as the submission window remains open, you can still update your dataset and release it again. Each new release will replace the previous one, ensuring that the data requester always receives the most up-to-date version of your submission.
After the data is released, a snapshot of all submitted datasets is automatically taken. This snapshot is locked as read-only to ensure data integrity and traceability. The data requester receives a copy of this snapshot, which represents the official version of the data at the time of release.
